1964 Pontiac Parisienne
Custom Sport
Available in 2 door sport coupe and convertible body styles only.
The true Ultimate Pontiac ! Essentially, the Custom Sport model is more cosely related to an Impala SS than anything else. The exterior of the body as well as the upholstery are basically the same as the U.S. Grand Prix, but without that "pancake" roof line. Instead they use the proper creased "convertible-like" roof that is so appreciated by early 60's GM car enthusiasts. Also, unlike the Grand Prix, GM of Canada had the wisdom to make their luxury/performance model available in a convertible as well ! The grille is the same as Grand Prix, but without those HUGE signal lights blocking it out. In addition, the Custom Sport adopts the use of the Bonneville style rocker chrome ( shortened ), creating a more refined, expensive look. Fortunately too, the rear design is like the Bonneville. Of course, like all Canadian Pontiacs, the complete 119" wheelbase chassis, floor, trunk, firewall, ect, as well as the interior console, are all Chevrolet !
